About Civic AF*

Civic AF is a space where young people explore how to feel well, connect with others, and engage with the world around them.
It starts with personal resilience and well-being. From there, it grows into community, understanding society, and shaping the future.
Civic AF brings together young people from the Nordic, Baltic and neighbouring countries to learn, create, and collaborate.
In the Civic AF residency, participants work with artists, psychologists, anthropologists, coaches and mentors. Together they explore how to strengthen resilience, promote civic engagement, and tackle disinformation through storytelling, creativity, and critical thinking.

What does
Civic AF mean?

The future will be as I am, and I am as the future.
Civic AF is about being bold, informed, creative, and ready to shape the future. It is a platform where young people express their voices through stories, visuals, ideas and conversations that reflect their world.
